Tom Collins

Ingredients 

  • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup
  • club soda
Garnish: Flag (orange & brandied cherry)

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients (except club soda) in a shaker tin, add ice, and shake well.
  • Stain into a collins glass over fresh ice and top with club soda.
  • Garnish with a classic flag (orange & brandied cherry).

Long/Tall

Bloody Mary

 

Ingredients 

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 4 ounces tomato juice
Garnish: Lemon wedge

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin and add ice.
  • Roll back and forth between the large and small shaker tin and pour until chilled.
  • Pour into a collins glass and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Old Fashioned

 

Ingredients 

  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2-3 dashes Orange bitters (optional)
  • 2 ounces Rye or bourbon
Garnish: Orange and lemon peel

Directions

  • In a rocks glass, muddle the sugar cube or sugar with Angostura bitters (add a splash of water if desired to help dissolve the sugar).
  • Add whiskey and ice (preferably a large cube) and stir well.
  • Garnish with lemon and orange peel.
